Men who don't need to ejaculate?

The other say, I hooked up with this guy and he didn't ejaculate at all, not during nor after. While having sex, his penis was never fully erect -he said he was tired- and it was hard for him to keep it up. I asked him if he needed to finish and he said he didn't, that he doesn't need to ejaculate even while being aroused. He said quote "having my partner cum is enough for me to get pleasure".. I thought things were going awful and that he didn't like it at all but he asked me to repeat again another day, said it was so good.

How common is this and how this works? I've never met someone like this.
